An app for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people
Someone talks. You see it signed.
See The Speech is a phone app that turns speech into sign language and live captions as people talk, in one-to-one conversations, group meetings and events. Reply by typing or tapping a phrase, and the phone says it out loud.

Wherever people are talking

One-to-one
At the front desk, an appointment, or a shop. Hold up the phone and talk face to face.

Group meetings
Stand the phone on the table and follow everyone in the room.

Events
Talks and gatherings, on your own phone. A clip-on mic helps with distance.
How it works
1 · LISTEN
Tap Listen and let people talk
Their words appear as big captions, and a signer shows them in sign language.
2 · REPLY
Type or tap a phrase
The phone says it out loud, and the other person sees it as you type.
3 · YOUR WAY
Made for Deaf users
Huge text, high contrast, vibration for every change, never sound-only.

Private by design
Conversations aren't stored by us. Speech becomes captions as it happens and isn't kept. When you report a problem, you choose whether to include the conversation and see exactly what is sent. We only count how the app is used, never what is said.
